This is a must see. Richard Preston gives a presentation about climbing Redwoods. He gives you a sense of being there. Just enough that you want to climb one to complete the experience he started for you.

I had a chance to photograph quite a few redwoods that Preston wrote about and spoke about.
It was pretty enlightening to compare the actual locations to the content of his book.
Hyperion Redwood and Largest Coast Redwoods
Investigating the exact habitats is the optimum way to approach the educational aspect.
